The Hospice Regatta welcomes all sailors who regularly compete in club races or class regattas.
Still, it’s also great fun for anyone who just loves sailing their boat. More than 60 boats are expected to race in the Spinnaker and Genoa Only Fleets (including Cruising Canvas) again this year.
The overall winner of the Spinnaker Fleet is recognized as Hospice Regatta champion and will receive an invitation to the Hospice Regattas National Championship in June 2011. Rochester’s Hospice Regatta is also recognized as a Tier 1 Qualifying Event for LYRA’s Boat of the Year award.
Boats are also needed for the Community Cruise on Friday, August 20, when skippers can welcome guests onto their boats for a casual outing on the lake to help raise money for Hospice.
Coming Soon:
* a printable Notice of Race and a printable Official Entry Form.
* online registration.
When a skipper pays the Basic Entry Fee, it does include a small donation for Hospice. But skippers can be Hospice Heroes by raising $250 or more to support Hospice – and then their entry fees are covered, and they receive tickets to the Friday Clambake or the Saturday Party.
