Lifetime Care proudly announces that Dr. Aaron Olden, MD, FACP, Medical Director of Palliative Care, has been named one of Rochester Business Journal's 2017 Forty Under 40 honorees. Winners were selected on outstanding professional accomplishments, civic involvement and impact of achievement before or by age 40.
He attended medical school at the University of Buffalo and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Palliative Care at the University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital. He was a chief medical resident and obtained a Masters degree in clinical investigation after his formal clinical training.
Dr. Olden has published papers in the Journal of Palliative Medicine and Journal of Pain and Symptom Management, and co-authored the Primer of Palliative Care with Dr. Timothy Quill and other local authors. He is an Associate Editor for PC-FACS, a publication of the American Academt of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He was recently elected as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP). To maintain balance in his life, he practices and instructs yoga classes locally. He lives in Rochester with his partner and their two yellow Labradors.
